Robby was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Durango in 2006. After a successful career in AAA and Junior Olympic hockey, as well as graduation from Novi High School, he attended Michigan State University. A love for small town growth and City Development, led him to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. He graduated with honors as the American Planning Association’s Outstanding student award in 2006.
After graduation, Robby began working for the La Plata County Planning Department administering land use codes, developing growth management policies, analyzing GIS data, and processing small and large scale developments. After 13 years working for the public, Robby brings with him, into real estate, extensive first hand knowledge in residential, commercial, agricultural and multi-use development.
Robby enjoys a good work/life balance with his 13 years as a musician. He has toured the southwest and released two albums which gained regional notoriety. His love for hockey, as well a an extensive career in the sport, allowed him to coach for the Durango Youth Hockey Association as well as the Women’s Travel team, the Durango Betties. Robby has also taught and worked at Stillwater Music and Katzin Music Programs. He continues to teach music to kids and adults alike in the Durango Area.
